Citizens have been encouraged to be hopeful of better a Nigeria despite the current challenges confronting the nation.

General Overseer, Voice Of El-shaddai For All Nation Ministry Incorporated, Agugu, Ibadan, Prophet Moses Omotoso gave the advice during the 25th Anniversary of the church.

The Cleric who noted that Nigeria is blessed with abundant human and natural resources blamed the socio-economic and political crises of Nigeria to bad leadership.

Prophet Omotoso however, said Nigerians should eschew criminal tendencies such as suicide, ritual killings and other social vices saying the country would experience political, social and economic transformation that would not only better their lots but attract foreign interests.

The Voice Of El-shaddai General Overseer said the celebration of the church’s 25th anniversary became needful in view of the numerous challenges that the church was able to overcome over the years.

In his goodwill message, the immediate past Head of News Department, Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, FRCN, Ibadan Zonal Station, Elder Adenrele Ajisefinni said clerics in the country should be wary of receiving financial support from suspected criminals whose sources of wealth was unknown.

Elder Ajisefinni while urging the congregation to be alive to their religious responsibilities said sanity could only be restored to the nation when religious leaders preach the truth and challenge political office holders on their stewardship.

High points of the event included special prayer, ordination and thanksgiving.
