To complement the efforts of security agencies at combating crimes in the country, a new police post has been donated to the Oyo State Command of the Nigeria Police.

The police post, donated by the Proprietress, Bola Immaculate Group of Schools, Chief Bolajoko Doherty, is situated at Immaculate Model College, Fodacis, Ibadan.

According to the donor, Chief Doherty, the police post was built to bring policing closer to the people, especially at community levels.

Chief Doherty urged the Nigeria Police Force to make judicious use of the facility in order for crime to be reduced to the barest minimum in the state.

Receiving the police post on behalf of the command, Commissioner of Police in the state, Mrs. Ngozi Onadeko appreciated the donor and promised that Oyo State would become unbearable for criminals.

The new police post was christened, ”Immaculate Police Post”.

Dignitaries at the event were representatives of the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Zonal Director, Radio Nigeria Ibadan Zonal Station, represented by the Deputy Director, ICT, Alhaja Wosilat Salami and General Manager, Premier FM, Ibadan, Alhaji Bashir Omotoso.
