We have not received any information on dead suspected car thief – Ogun Police

The Ogun State Police Command says it has not received details of the reported suspected car part thief found dead under a vehicle at an Ogun mechanic workshop.

The Ogun State Police Command Spokesman Mr Abimbola Oyeyemi while speaking with Radio Nigeria in Abeokuta, said the report of the man suspected to be a thief in Ago Egun area of Idiroko Border in Ipokia Local Government Area of Ogun State has not gotten to the police.

The deceased whose identity could not be ascertained was reportedly found under the vehicle with a hydraulic jack and spanners fueling the speculations that he was about removing some parts of the vehicle when he died.
