Osun State Police Command has warned individuals or groups planning to embark on unlawful protest between 21stand 24th December 2021, to desist from such plans.
Speaking with newsmen in Osogbo, the State Commissioner of Police, Mr Olawale Olokode who said the command would not allow any gathering or protest under any guise, hinted that the operatives were fully prepared to use all legitimate means to avert such activities.
Mr Olokode advised parents and guardians to plead with their wards to be law-abiding and desist from such gatherings as the perpetrators would be promptly arrested and prosecuted.
He implored the good people of the state to go about their lawful activities, noting that the police had taken necessary security measures to forestall any breakdown of law and order during the Christmas and the New Year celebrations.
