The Minister-in-charge, Molete Baptist Church, The Reverend Dr Edward Alabi said Christians should live within their means and eschew incurring unnecessary debts.
The Reverend Alabi stated this in a sermon during the first Sunday Thanksgiving Service of the church.
He explained that due to the current economic situation in the country, there was a need for Christians to avoid extravagant spending.
The Reverend Alabi however called on the government to improve the nation’s economy through people-oriented policies.
