Prospective buyers of land and property have been advised to research the history of such property to avoid being duped.

A legal practitioner, Mr Wale Omoniyi gave the advice while featuring on straight talk, an interview program on Premier FM.

Mr Omoniyi said buying property might sometimes be frustrating and discouraging if the proper investigation were not carried out, especially by experts.

Mr Omoniyi also frowned at any form of land grabbing in the society, advising victims to always involve the security agencies instead of settling land grabbers
