New Resident Electoral Commissioner has been deployed to Ogun State by the Independent National Electoral Commission.
He is Mr. Olaniyi Ijalaye, he takes over from Mr Olusegun Agbaje who had been redeployed to Lagos State.
A statement by the Head of Department of Voter Education and Publicity in Ogun State INEX office, Mrs Adenike Tadese explained that the deployment was in line with the recent deployment of newly sworn-in Commissioners by the INEC headquarters.
The statement said the new Resident Electoral Commissioner assumed office on the last day of February this year.
Mr. Olaniyi Ijalaye, was sworn in by the Chairman of INEC, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu as the Resident Electoral Commissioner on 23rd February this year.
