Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun has approved the appointment of eight new Permanent Secretaries and a new Accountant General.
A statement by the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Mr Kunle Somorin indicates that the new appointees will fill the existing vacancies among the rank of Permanent Secretaries in the State Public Service.
The statement notes that seniority, merit, professionalism and inclusiveness are considered in the appointment of the Permanent Secretaries and the Accountant General.
The statement shows that the new Permanent Secretaries are
Mr. Waheed Adesina,
Mr. Adetayo Adewale,
Mr. Adedayo Somoye,
Mr. Oluwaseyi Sokoya,
Dr Qudus Adegboyega,
Mr. Adenopo Adegbenga and
Dr. Moshood Oladeinde.
It adds that Messrs Adebayo Bamidele and Mr. Thomas Aregbesola are the new Solicitor General and Accountant General respectively.
While congratulating the new appointees, the statement urges them to brace up for the challenges of their positions.
