Greater collaborations between sister organizations in the broadcast industry will assist them to surmount the challenges of broadcasting in view of the prevailing economic situation in the country.

This formed the submission of the General Managers of Ogun State Broadcasting Corporation, OGBC, Mrs Toyin Sogbesan and her counterpart at the state Television, OGTV, Mr Tunde Kazeem when they both played host to the General Manager of Radio Nigeria Paramount FM Abeokuta, Mr Akinyinka Akintola who led his management team to their respective offices.

Mrs Sogbesan while speaking at the Ibara Abeokuta GRA, Board Room of OGBC advocated the need for the organizations to extend opportunities to each other in the process of commercial broadcasting, noting that such Partnerships would improve their revenue generation and the efforts to promote staff welfare

Mr Kazeem who hosted the team at the Ajebọ Road Broadcasting House of the television station also described the organizations as partners in progress and expressed the hope that the partnership would be sustained to better the lot of both parties.

The General Manager of Paramount FM, Mr Akinyinka Akintola who acknowledged the challenges of broadcasting under the prevailing high cost of fuel agreed with his colleagues that that the collective efforts of all stakeholders would help to alleviate the problems.

Mr Akintola noted that Radio Nigeria was willing to partner relevant bodies in the bid to sustain quality broadcasting that will add value to the listener.
