May Allah make this Ramadan easy, stress-free – Gov.  Abiodun

Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, has called on Muslim Umah to take advantage of the month of Ramadan to pray for the country and extend love to the less privileged in the society.

In a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Kunle Somorin, Governor Abiodun said with prayers, all challenges confronting the country were surmountable.

While felicitating Muslim Umah on the beginning of fasting in the Holy Month of Ramadan, Governor Abiodun described it as a month filled with with the abundant mercy of Allah, acceptance of prayers and forgiveness.

He said the Holy Month with its attendant virtues should serve as a guide, moral and spiritual compass for the Muslims, urging them to uphold the tenets of Ramadan and be their brother’s keepers. 

While praying Allah to make the fasting easy and stress-free for the Muslim Umah, Governor Abiodun prayed that the fasting would be accepted as act of worship by Allah.
