An All Progressives Congress aspirant for the Ondo North Senatorial District, Chief Alex Ajipe has rejected in its entirety, the process that led to the primary election which produced Mr Jide Ipinsagba as the senatorial candidate of the Party.

He therefore called on the party to nullify the election and set up another one in the interest of all aspirants involved.

Addressing newsmen in Akure, the Ondo state capital, Chief Ajipe described the process as a mockery of what normal Primary election should be.

The APC stalwart who scored 57 votes to follow Ipinsagba who had 268 votes, also alleged that the primary election was marred with malpractices and irregularities as leadership of the party denied three out of the four aspirants access to the delegates lists and later changed the lists at the eleventh hour to the primary election.

According to Chief Ajipe, strange markets women and traders were presented to them as delegates, a development he described as ridiculous to a democratic process.

Also speaking, a legal practitioner and Ajipe Campaign Director General, Chief Tolu Babaleye however expressed his readiness to approach the appeal panel of the Party to seek redress over the manipulation or head for court of law.
