Police Nab Four in Ondo

Four suspected armed robbers in two different locations in Ondo state have been apprehended by men of the Nigeria Police.

Three of the robbers, Victor Bright, 21, AbdulRahim Mohammed, 22 and Friday Emmanuel, 27 were apprehended in Owo, headquarters of Owo Local Government Area of the state for snatching a boxer motorcycle and mobile phone.

Confessing to the crime when they were paraded at the State Police Headquarters, the leader of the gang, Bright stated that the robbery was their first operation.

With one of the suspect said to be on the run, Bright said that the motorcycle and the phone were sold for N130,000.

Also, one Mohammed Sule, 23 was arrested at Shasha area of Akure for robbing some houses in the within the axis.

Speaking, the Police Public Relations Officer in Ondo state, SP Funmi Odunlami, stated that upon the conclusion of investigations, the suspect would be charged to court.
