Governorship candidate of Accord Party in Osun State, Dr Akin Ogunbiyi has pledged to provide compulsory free primary school education in the state if given the mandate.
Ogunbiyi made the promise while featuring on a political programme on Radio Nigeria, Ogo-Ilu 89.3 FM, Oko in Ogbomoso.
Dr Ogunbiyi who decried the state of the economy in Osun said he would maximize the potential in the state’s natural resources to boost its internally generated revenue.
The Accord governorship candidate who also pledged to tap the Nollywood industry gave assurance that modalities had been put in place to ensure that all workers were paid as and when due.
“We will ensure that retirees get their entitlement, we will make use of numerous mineral resources including gold in Ile -Ife, and Ilesha to drive our economy. We will also provide free healthcare for children, expectant mothers and the aged” Ogunbiyi said.
Dr Ogunbiyi however implored the people of Osun to give their mandate to the Accord Party for a better tomorrow in Osun state.
