Ondo State Security Network Agency, codenamed “Amotekun Corps” has confirmed the arrest of some perpetrators of the Owo Catholic church Massacre, recovering some weapons and the vehicle used to escape from the scene.

Similarly, the Corps paraded seventy-one suspected kidnappers, armed robbers, Okada snatchers, and human traffickers.

Parading the suspects, the State Commander of Amotekun, Akogun Adetunji Adeleye who did not give the specific number and details of those arrested in connection with the attack on the Catholic church, said the corps was still working with other sister security agencies to track down all the perpetrators.

Akogun Adeleye appealed to the people of Ondo State especially those at the border towns on the Akoko-Owo-Ose axis to remain calm and support the security men to clean up forests of criminals.

On the seventy-one suspects paraded in Akure, the Amotekun Commander said they would be charged to court for prosecution after the conclusion of investigations.
