Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu has expressed displeasure over the neglect of the Ondo State House of Assembly complex by successive governments.

Governor Akeredolu stated this when he paid an unscheduled visit to the Assembly in Akure.

He explained that the complex had witnessed total neglect for the past forty years of its construction.

Governor Akeredolu said the hallowed chamber had been equipped with modern facilities and gadgets needed for the legislative functions of lawmakers.

The Governor gave an assurance that he would not relent in providing a conducive working environment for the lawmakers to be able to perform their duties effectively.

Earlier, the Assembly Speaker, Mr Bamidele Oleyelogun had described Governor Akeredolu as a visionary leader who had put smiles on the face of individuals through various development projects.
