Peace, security will be restored to every part of the nation – FG

The Federal Government has once again assured Nigerians that it will not relent until peace and security are restored to every part of the county.

Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed gave the assurance in Abuja at a news briefing on the successes being recorded in the fight against insecurity.

According to the minister, the military and other security agencies had been able to contain the daunting challenges confronting the nation.

Alhaji Mohammed said, though the battle was not over, the federal government through the security outfits had been able to put the bandits and other criminals on the run.

Similarly, the Minister of Defence, Alhaji Bashir Magashi hinted that modern equipment were being acquired for the army navy and air force to further enhance the fight against insecurity.

Alhaji Magashi also reiterated the resolve of the present administration to facilitate peace and safety of lives to Nigeria.

The defense minister urged Nigerians to support the armed forces to achieve the desired results.
