The Ogun State House of Assembly, OGHA, has reinstated one of the suspended lawmakers, Mr Solomon Osho, representing Remo North State Constituency.

Mr Osho was suspended alongside former Deputy Speaker of the House, Mr Dare Kadiri for alleged infringement on the provisions of the Legislative Houses (Powers and Privileges) Act, 2017.

The suspension was lifted after the lawmakers had adopted the report presented by the Deputy Speaker, Mr Akeem Balogun at a plenary session presided over by the Speaker, Prince Olakunle Oluomo.

The legislators also pointed out that the decision was based on the passionate plea and remorse shown by the member who they claimed has promised to always display decorum and respect for constituted authority as a worthy representative of his people.

The House resolved that the suspension be revoked and that Mr Osho be reinstated with effect from Tuesday 4th October, 2022.
