President Muhammadu Buhari will today present the 2023 Appropriation Bill to the joint session of the National Assembly.

The Federal Executive Council (FEC) had endorsed the 2023 budget proposal for onward presentation to the National Assembly.

Femi Adesina, the president’s special adviser on media and publicity, confirmed this when he addressed State House Correspondents after the Council’s meeting on Wednesday.

President Buhari informed the lawmakers that he would be at the National Assembly complex by 10:00 am to address a joint session and present the fiscal document.

The budget of N19.76 trillion will be the last to be presented by President Buhari.

Senate President Ahmad Lawan said that the President will address the joint session of the parliament as against the earlier fears that there might be no space to accommodate the session due to the ongoing renovation.

Security in and around the National Assembly is has been tightened due to the Presentation.
