Ekiti Police Command Apprehends Killer Driver

The Ekiti State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of a tipper driver who killed two of its officers in Ado Ekiti on Monday.

The command’s spokesperson, Mr Sunday Abutu made this known to newsmen in Ado Ekiti.

Mr Abutu who refused to disclose the name of the suspect said he was currently being detained at the police Headquarters in Ado Ekiti.

Two policemen on a Motorcycle lost their lives in Adehun Area of Ado Ekiti yesterday (Monday) when a tipper lost control and rammed into them.

Initially, the driver took to his heels for fear of being attacked by those at the scene of the incident but he was later arrested by the police.
