Nigerians should raise prayers for this nation as elections draw near.
The Reverend kehinde Alabi of Molete Baptist church challenge Ibadan stated this in a message to usher in the new.
The Reverend Alabi believed that with fervent prayers good leaders would emerge.
Prayers for the nation was raised by members of the church.
In a related development, Pastor Adesoji Adeniji of Christ life Church, loyola ibadan,says 2023 will be a year of great turning around for Nigeria.
Pastor Adeniji stated this in a new year message, explained that the nation would overcome challenges faced,noted that the glory of God would prevail in the country .
The Cleric expressed joy that Nigeria would rise again, appealed to people to love one another irrespective of differences in tribe, religion,politics as well as social class.
Also, Reverend Ademola Mabawonko of Agodi Baptist Church Ibadan has admonished Nigerians to hold on and put on trust in God alone to give his blessings.
Reverend Mabawonko enjoined citizens to vote according to God’s direction and not to sell their votes,urged politicians to be godly and show good leadership.
