Osun Begins Rescue Mission of Five kidnapped Victims

Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke has directed an immediate search and rescue mission for the five members of Baptist Church who were recently kidnapped under controversial circumstances.

The Governor in a statement by his Spokesperson, Mallam Rasheed Olawale, directed the State Commissioner of Police and other security agencies to take up the matter and ensure safe return of the victims.

The Commissioner of Police has consequently activated local and inter-state operations to locate and rescue the victims.

Governor Adeleke further reassured families of the victims that no stone will be left unturned to rescue their loved ones.

It will be recalled that two men who are members of Baptist Church were kidnapped at Ileogbo last week Thursday while returning from the farm, while three members of Baptist church who went to pay for the ransom at Egbe in Kogi State were also detained by the kidnappers. asking their people to pay for another ransom.
