Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun has inaugurated the 5.7 kilometres Kemta-Ilugun-Somorin road in the Odeda Local Government Area of the state.
Speaking at the ceremony which was part of his campaign tour to the local government, Governor Abiodun also announced that his administration would begin the construction of Saje Opeji Road in Bode Olude next week.
While explaining that the construction of Kemta-Ilugun-Somorin Road was another milestone in the infrastructural development of the state, the governor said his administration would construct more roads to further open the state for more economic activities.
Governor Abiodun who said his administration had ensured inclusive governance by executing at least a project in each of the 20 local government areas, commended the people of the state for their efforts in promoting peace across the state.
In a remark, Olu of Kemta, Oba Adetokunbo Tejuosho commended Governor Abiodun for focusing on road infrastructure and promoting socio-economic development across the state.
