Operatives of Ogun State Community Social Orientation and Safety Corps, SO-Safe Corps, have arrested two suspected kidnappers in Owode Egba area of the State.

The suspects Mohammed Lawale, twenty year old and twenty five year old Sarafa Asimiu, a resident of Amusa Yusuf house, Oke-Aje, Ibadan,were arrested following a tip off from the family of the victim.

So-Safe Corps Commander , Dr Soji Ganzallo who confirmed the arrest of the suspects in Abeokuta said the victim was rescued unhurt.

Dr Ganzallo said the suspects had allegedly kidnapped a cattle rearer identified as Oseni at Olorunda-Lukosi, Iro, in Owode-Egba Area of the state and dispossessed him of 130 thousand naira with the documents of his Motorcycle.

He said the suspected kidnappers had demanded for 4 million naira before the release of their victim, adding operatives of the corps arrested the two suspected Kidnappers, whilst others at large, despite the intensive combing of the location.

He noted that the suspects and the victim had been handed over to Nigeria Police, Iro Post.
