Blackout Disrupts Early Collation of Results in Oyo North

Heavy rainfall and non availability of electricity, on Saturday, disrupted the early collation of election results at Oyo North senatorial district collation centre situated at Iseyin.

The challenges, according to our correspondent made the adhoc staff and INEC returning officers from the University of Ibadan to frown at the poor preparations of INEC towards the collation of results at the centre.

Our correspondent, observed that efforts made by INEC staff to fix the generating set provided for the centre did not yield results untill 11 ‘o’ clock in the night, when the Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company, restored electricity to the Center.
