Ekiti REC Gives Thumb Up to Voters

The INEC Resident Electoral Commissioner in Ekiti State, Professor Ayobami Salami has lauded the people of the state for their peaceful conduct during today’s Presidential and NationaI Assembly elections.

Professor Salami gave the commendation while addressing newsmen in Ado Ekiti after he monitored the exercise in some Polling units in the state capital.

The REC said early arrival of materials to polling units was one of the factors which led to the peaceful conduct of the exercise..

Some of the voters who confirmed the early arrival of materials to polling units commended INEC for making solid arrangements for the exercise.

Radio Nigeria reporter observed that voting has ended in polling units across the state while sorting and collation of results are ongoing at different venues.
