Assistant  Director, Radio Nigeria Programmes Department, Ibadan Zonal Station, Mr Adedamola Tinubu has been inaugurated as the General Manager of Premier FM Ibadan.

He is taking over from Alhaji Bashir Omotoso, who recently retired from service.

While inaugurating the GM during a staff forum at the station’s premises, Iyaganku, Ibadan, the Zonal Director, Radio Nigeria Ibadan Zonal Station, Mr Dominic Mokikan urged members of staff to cooperate with the new GM to take the station to greater heights.

Mr Mokikan also charged the staff to be alive to their responsibilities and generate more revenues for the station.

In his acceptance speech, the new GM, Mr Tinubu described his appointment as a homecoming, stressing that his mission was to revive Premier FM Ibadan.

“My focus is to ensure that the glory of Premier FM as one of the FM stations in the stale of Radio Nigeria is known for excellence in broadcasting, presentation and production by the grace of God it is returning,” he said.

Until his appointment, Mr Adedamola Tinubu was General Manager, Gold FM, Ilesa, Osun state.
