Parents have again been admonished to give proper home training and upbringing to their children for a better Society.
A Member of the Council for Islamic Preachers, South West Nigeria, Alhaji Abdulateef Ajibola Amubikanhun made the call during this year’s Ramadan Lecture organized by Osun State House of Assembly Muslim Community.
Delivering a lecture entitled “Moral Decadence Among Contemporary Youths, Roles of the Parents and the Society”, Alhaji Amubikanhun emphasized that parents have roles to play in moulding the life of their children from birth through positive religious teachings.
While describing Women as Home Builders, Alhaji Ajibola urged them to be submissive to their Husbands and exhibit the will of Almighty Allah in their daily dealings.
In his address, The Speaker of the House, Mr. Timothy Owoeye who explained that Ramadan is a period to seek the mercies of Allah urged Muslim Faithful to exhibit the fear of God during and after the period.
Reacting to the outcome of the last State Assembly Election, Mr Owoeye advised members of the Seventh Assembly to see it as an act of Almighty Allah noting that in every situation of life, human beings should appreciate the Creator.
