The Nigeria Governors’ Forum, NGF, will be holding its 2023 valedictory meeting on Wednesday 26th of April 2023.
According to an invitation to the 36 Governors, issued by the Director-General of the Forum, Mr Asishana Okauru, on Monday, the meeting will be the 5th physical meeting in 2023, as the four earlier meetings during the year had been virtual.
It states that after the Chairman’s brief and parting remarks, the floor will be open for valedictories from members.
Seventeen Governors are leaving the Forum having completed their terms in office, while adequate arrangements have been put in place for the induction of new Governors and returning ones which is coming up between the 14th and 17 of May, the letter reads.
The meeting will also end the Leadership of Governors Fayemi and Tambuwal in the Forum as another Chairman is expected to emerge among Governors of the majority party.
