Ogun State Commissioner of Police, Mr Olarenwaju Oladimeji has attributed the feat achieved in the fight against criminals in the last few days to the strategies mapped out in the command to deal with criminals in the state
Mr Oladimeji stated this while parading fourteen suspects at the command’s Headquarters, Eleweran Abeokuta.
The Commissioner of Police listed the crimes committed by the suspects to include armed robbery, theft, cult-related crimes and ritual killings.
Mr Oladimeji said the command arrested one Ifasoji Ayangbesan who allegedly bought parts of a dismembered victim and offered the sum of one million naira bribe to the police at Obalanede area of Ogun state.
He noted that the command would deploy all its resources to wage war against crime and criminality as well as their sponsors.
Mr Oladimeji solicited the continued support of members of the public especially in the area of information that would assist the command in the efforts to rid the state off crime.
