The 9th Assembly of the Ondo State legislature says the state has witnessed peace, improved security and rapid development as a result of its robust relationship with the executive.

The ChairmanHouse Committee on Information, Youths and Sports Development, Mr Gbenga Omole stated this at a media briefing while giving a scorecard of activities of the 9th assembly held in Akure.

 He also announced that the House Assembly passed a total of 63 bills in the last four years, some of which had given succour and comfort to the people of Ondo State.

Mr Omole said that among the bills which were passed and signed into law by the executive included the Ondo State security network agency-code name Amotekun, anti-grazing law, review of the retirement age of professors, among others.

He thanked the people of Ondo State for the confidence reposed in the lawmakers.
