The valedictory service of the ninth Legislature of the Ogun State House of Assembly has been held with a record of passage of 55 Bills and 58 Resolutions within four years.
The Speaker, Mr Olakunle Oluomo made this known in his remarks while presiding over the session at the Assembly Complex, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, noting that the achievements recorded by the ninth Assembly was a result of cooperation and understanding between the lawmakers irrespective of party affiliations.
Mr Oluomo enjoined members- elect in the 10th Assembly to prioritize the welfare of the people in all their legislative duties.
He stated that the attendance of the members-elect at the valedictory sitting would avail them the opportunity to learn and further contribute their quota to the development of the State.
Earlier, some lawmakers including Mr Ademiyiwa Adeyemi, Mr Oludaisi Elemide and Mrs Atinuke Bello in their various remarks outlined their achievements including the sponsorship and passage of people oriented bills and facilitation of projects.
