Egbetokun Takes Over as Acting AIG

The Acting Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, has officially assumed office as the 22nd IG.

The former IG, Usman Baba, officially handed over to Egbetokun today, Wednesday, during a Handing/Taking Over Ceremony of the Inspector-General of Police at the Louis Edet House, Force Headquarters, Abuja.

it would be recalled that President Bola Tinubu appointed Egbetokun as the new acting IGP alongside the Service Chiefs and Egbetokun was decorated on Tuesday at the State House by Vice President Kashim Shettima.
