The Nigerian Airforce, NAF 671 has sought for better synergy with the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, to collectively tackle insecurity bedevilling the society. 

New Airforce boss in Oyo state, Air Commodore, Adeyemi Adeyimika made the call when he paid a courtesy visit to NSCDC command in the state.

Air commodore Adeyimika explained that the collaboration among sister security agencies would go a long way at reducing any form of security breach.

He noted that building on the existing collaboration would improve security of lives and property of citizens in Oyo state.

Air Commodore Akinyimika therefore commended the officers and men of the NSCDC for the show professionalism at the joint task force operations and enjoined them to continue on the pace. 

He also called on the rank and file of the corps to see themselves as one and avoid acts capable of causing rivalry.

Responding, NSCDC commandant in Oyo state, Dr. Michael Adaralewa appreciated the Nigerian Airforce’s visit to the command and promised to sustain the cordial relationship whenever the matter arises.

“I am using the medium to welcome the new service commander to the pace setter state and wish him a successful tenure in his duty as head of Air Force in Oyo state”. 

The NSCDC commandant, Dr Adaralewa, therefore, enjoined all other sister agencies to always see themselves as one big family to be able to collectively nip crime in the bud.
