Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, has congratulated the three minister-designates appointed from the state by President Bola Tinubu.
The Minister designates are Mr. Wale Edun, Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of Economy, Dr. Bosun Tijani, Minister of Communication, Innovation and Digital Economy, and Dr. Ishak Salako, Minister of State for Environment and Ecological Management.
A statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Mr Lekan Adeniran, indicates that the portfolios reflected the capacity and competence of the minister-designates.
The statement notes that the nomination of the trio and the choice of portfolios would fast-track the president’s Renewed Hope agenda.
While wishing the minister-designates best of luck as they discharge their responsibilities, Governor Abiodun urged them to embark on programmes and policies that would lift Nigeria to unprecedented heights.
