Ondo State government assures residents of its commitment to equitable distribution of fuel subsidy palliatives as it will commence payment of ten thousand naira to the vulnerable and distribution of food items to households by September this year.
The Commissioner for Information, Mrs Bamidele Ademola-Olateju announced this in a statement, giving updates on measures to cushion the effects of fuel subsidy removal.
Mrs Ademola-Olateju said pensioners in the state would also get their ten thousand naira along with their monthly pay as social intervention while civil servants would receive their outstanding leave bonus for 2020 by the end of this month.
The commissioner also announced that the provision of farm inputs to farmers would start next week while school buses and boats would be made available before resumption of blessed.
