As the nation clocks 63, public servants have been urged to re-awaken and re-dedicate their efforts towards contributing their quota to the continued existence of the nation.

The speaker of Osun State House of Assembly, OSHA, Prince Adewale Egbedun made the call in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, CPS, Mr. Olamide Tiamiyu, in Osogbo.

Prince Egbedun who noted that it became imperative for all Nigerians to play patriotic roles in building a country which they would be proud to bequeath to generations unborn, said Nigeria’s journey since independence in 1960 had been eventful in many respects.

He emphasized that for the nation to grow, Nigerians irrespective of tribe, religion, and political affiliation, must remain indivisible, rebuild the broken walls, and resolve to stick together in unity, faith, peace and progress.

The speaker congratulated residents of the state and prayed to God for the success of Governor Ademola Adeleke and members of the 8th Assembly.
