Police in Oyo state have caught up with another suspect in possession of human head and other parts of human body.
The suspect was paraded alongside other suspects at the Police headquarters, Eleyele Ibadan by the Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Mr Adewale Osifeso
Mr Osifeso said the suspect, Hassan Kolawole resides around Ogbere-tioya Area, Ibadan in Ona-ara Local Govt Area Oyo state.
The PPRO explained that the suspect who was caught in possession of items suspected to be Fresh Human Head and Two Hands said they were given to him by one Tijani Waheed who is presently at large.
He explained further that the suspect said he was an Alfa as well as a native doctor and Waheed came to him for rituals which required the usage of human parts.
The Police Spokesman said another suspect, Dauda Olayide was apprehended for allegedly shooting one Ayoola on his right leg at a recreation spot at Monganna area of Ibadan.
He said the suspect voluntarily confessed that he purchased the gun used in shooting the victim on from one Alao, a member of a local vigilante group adding that after the shooting incident, he hid the gun under his bed for Two (2) weeks before he eventually handed it over to his brother, with instructions to keep the gun in his custody.
Speaking with journalists at the Police Headquarters Eleyele Ibadan, Olayide said he hid the gun from people because he was scared of the consequences of his action.
The PPRO said the Command’s Anti – Cultism Squad also busted some suspected hoodlums cultist who use a building at Gbekuba Area Apata Ibadan as their hideout.
The seven suspects who were in possession of items suspected to be Hard drugs like Colorado, Loud smoke, Marley Smoke, and dangerous weapons such as an Improvised gun and a dual face axe made of iron were apprehended. “
Preliminary investigations further revealed that the apartment was owned by one Oluwafemi Johnson ‘m’ alleged to be involved with the sales of hard drugs.”
“ Other suspects apprehended in possession of banned substances suspected to be hard drugs and other dangerous weapons include; Lawal Olawunmi ‘m’, Ojo Babatunde ‘m’ Ogidan Oladele ‘m’, Kazeem Olajide ‘m’, Kenneth Chibueze ‘m’, Kolade Hassan ‘m’” Alakuro Temitope ‘M’ while in the process of snatching a Boxer Bajaj Motorcycle with Registration Number NRK 754 QW from its owner.
Exhibits found with the suspects include ONE BOXER BAJAJ REG. NO NRK 754 QW 2. IMPROVISED GUN 3. DUAL FACED AXE 4. HARD DRUGS ( SEVENTEEN (17) WRAPS OF WEED & FIFTY – THREE (53) WRAPS OF COLORADO) 5. ONE (1) HP LAPTOP 6.ONE (1) HUMAN HEAD 7. TWO (2) .
