OSHA Confirms Chairmen, Members of Statutory Commissions

Osun State House of Assembly this morning screened and confirmed Chairmen and members of statutory commissions sent to it by the Executive Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke.

The Statutory Commissions includes; Osun House of Assembly Service Commission, Osun State Judiciary Service Commission Nominees, Osun State Civil Service Commission and Osun State Independent Electoral Commission, OSIEC.

The Majority Leader, Mr. Kofoworola Adewunmi and Member Representing Irepodun/Orolu State Constituency, Prince Oladimeji moved the motion for the confirmation of the Nominees held during its plenary session at the Assembly, Complex, Osogbo.

The Speaker of the House, Prince Adewale Egbedun recalled that the dissolution of the boards two weeks ago was based on report of the House Committee on Public Petitions which investigated series of petitions submitted against members of these commissions.

Prince Egbedun explained that the emergency plenary session became imperative to aviod unnecessary vacuum and to enhance seamless operations in the State Statutory Commissions.

After screening of the Nominees, Prince Egbedun said the Executive Governor of the State, Senator Ademola Adeleke can proceed for the swearing- in ceremony of the Chairmen and members of the State Statutory Commissions.

The Chairmen and members of Osun State Independent National Electoral Commission, OSIEC are Barrister Hashim Abioye (Chairman), Barrister Niyi Abioye, Mr. Timothy Folarin, Chief Raufu Sikiru, Barrister Wale Iyaniwura, Olubunmi Ibiloye, Mobolaji Niniola and Adedapo Ayodeji.

Those who constitutes the members of Osun State Judiciary Service Commission are Barrister Isola Tewogbade, Barrister Adedunmade Onibokun , Mr Gbadegesin Olajide and Mrs.Linda Bibilari.

Chairman of  Osun State Civil Service Commission is Mufutau Oluwadare and other members are ; Agbofiseti Akano, Adekunle Olaniyan, Olojede Akindele and Alhaji Fakorede Raifu.

Also, the Chairman of Osun State House of Assembly Service Commission is A former Lawmakers, Mr. Adekunle Oyekunle, Mr.Okun Obiremi, Mr. Adebusola Taiwo, Mr Sulaiman Adio and Mr.Yinka Adetoyi as members.
