The member representing Ayedire/Iwo/Ola-Oluwa Federal Constituency of Osun State at the House of Representatives, Mr Mudashiru Lukman has felicitated with his constituents over the successful completion of the year 2023.
Mr Lukman, who stated this in a New Year message, called on the people of Iwo, Ayedire, and Ola-Oluwa Local Government Areas to go into 2024 with mind of optimism for better days ahead.
While stressing that 2023 had gone with its plethora of challenges, the lawmaker called on Nigerians to remain hopeful adding that federal government and the House of Representatives are working round the clock in making laws that will ease the sufferings of the citizens.
The lawmaker also promised to continue to provide good representation to give more robust and quality representation, while acknowledging the support of the people of the federal constituency, Mr Lukman assured that more Bills and motions to give Ayedire, Iwo, and Ola-Oluwa LGAs improved development and upliftment will be adequately sponsored and moved at the Green Chamber.
He promised to intensify his efforts in his quest to mobilize contractors back to the site for the long-abandoned Gbongan-Iwo-Oyo Road.
According to him, in his 6 months in office, he has sponsored bills for the establishment of the Federal University of Agriculture in Bode-Osi, Ola-Oluwa Local Government, establishment of the Federal College of Fisheries and Aquaculture in Oluponna, Ayedire Local Government among many other Bills he has sponsored.
