Federal and state workers in Oyo state have resumed after the Eid-Fitri holiday declared by the federal government to mark the end of Ramadan fasting
Radio Nigeria correspondent who monitored the resumption at the federal secretariat and Agodi Secretariat, Ibadan reports that workers were seen at their duty posts.
Some of the workers in an interview commended the federal government for rising to the occasion to extend the holiday til Thursday when Eid could not hold as expected.
It would be recalled that the federal government had declared Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday for the Muslim faithful to celebrate Eid-Fitri.
Some states Including Gombe, Kastina and Sokoto however, extended the holiday till Friday in continuation of the Eid-Fitri celebration.
