The Ogun State Community, Social Orientation and Safety Corps otherwise called So-Safe Corps has arrested three persons for alleged vandalising transformer cables in Idiroko, Ipokia Local Government Area.
A statement issued by the Office of the State Commander, Dr Soji Ganzallo, signed by the information director of the agency, MrMoruf Yusuf confirmed that the patrol team led by Chief Superintendent of Corps Abdulkareem Abdulrazaq arrested the suspects on May 26, 2024, at about 0530hrs.
According to the statement ,the suspects, Eze Sunday, an ex-convict, Eze John Charles, and Jamilu Danjuma, confessed to the crime and mentioned the third suspect as the receiver of the stolen items.
The suspects and the recovered exhibits, including burnt and separated copper wires, have been transferred to the Nigeria Police Force, Idiroko Divisional Headquarters for further investigation and likely prosecution.
The commandant said that the security outfit would continue to work tirelessly to ensure the safety and security of Ogun State citizens.
