A retired Assistant Director of News, at Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, FRCN, Alhaji Olayiwola Lawal, is dead.

Alhaji Lawal who died at the age of 68, was buried this afternoon after Jumat Service at his residence in Ashipa, Odo-Ona Elewe area of Ibadan.

Alhaji  Lawal served as  Radio Nigeria correspondent covering Kano, Kaduna and Katsina states in the North-Central.

 He also worked on the foreign desk and as a diplomatic correspondent for Radio Nigeria Network, Abuja.
