The death has occurred of a former staff of Radio Nigeria, Ibadan National Station, Pastor Matthew Bameyi Ugbede.
Aged 75, Pastor Ugbede died during his sleep on Wednesday 5th March 2025 at his residence, Ifesowapo Estate, Omi-Adio, lbadan.
Born in Bagaji in Omala Local Government Area of Kogi State, Pastor Ugbede joined Radio Nigeria as a Translator in the News Department and retired as Principal Current Affairs Officer.
Burial arrangements will be announced by the family.
