Osun Speaker, Senator Buhari Remind Faithful about Being Charitable

The practice of restraint from wrong deeds, fostering understanding, and prioritising harmony among Nigerians, irrespective of differencs , has been stressed.

The Speaker, Osun State House of Assembly, Prince Adewale Egbedun made the call in a Eid Al Fitr message.

Prince Egbedun noted that Ramadan is a period which reminds faithful on the need to be closer to Almighty Allah and to embody the virtues of patience, humility, and kindness towards one another.

Osun Speaker stress “The teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW) should guide us as we continue our journey beyond Ramadan.

As we celebrate today, let us renew our commitment to building a society founded on justice, fairness, and unity.”

He emphasized the need for Muslims to hold on to the values of charity and empathy for the less privileged in the Society.

While wishing citizens of the State a Joyous Eid al fitr celebration , The Osun State Speaker prayed God that the lessons of Ramadan guide people’s actions throughout the year, and may this Eid bring peace, prosperity to every home in the State.

“As we conclude the sacred month of Ramadan, we celebrate the spirit of devotion, self-discipline, and compassion that the holy season has instilled in us.” He states further

Similarly, the Senator representing the people of Oyo North Senatorial District, Dr. Buhari Abdulfatai has congratulated Muslims on the successful completion of 29 days Holy fasting period.

In a statement,Senator Buhari
thanked God for the lives of every Muslim in the district for the strength given to do the fasting and other supplications throughout the holy month .

According to the lawmaker, the teachings of the holy month of Ramadan included experiencing the sufferings of the downtrodden set of people with the objective of knowing how to take care of them to alleviate their state of poverty.

While identifying the act of giving to the needy as a vital lesson brought by the month to every Muslim, Senator Buhari admonished the wealthy individuals never to cease in their philanthropic gestures during the Ramadan even after the holy month to the less privileged or poor people.

Senator Buhari while praying God to accept all the activities of every Muslim throughout the holy month as acts of Ibadah, prayed God to answer the prayers of all the Muslims as a cardinal reward of their sincerity for worshipping Almighty Allah according to the teaching of Prophet Muhammad.
