It was an exciting and life-changing experience for pupils of Eden Nursery and Primary School, Omi Adio, Ibadan, during their visit to the Broadcasting House of Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, FRCN, Dugbe, Ibadan.
The students who were conducted around some strategic offices in the station, such as the reportorial unit, library, live studio and control room, also took time to ask questions.
Some of the students who spoke after the tour of the station said they had fun and life defining experience through the visit.
The students also appreciated Radio Nigeria Ibadan for giving them the opportunity to see some old broadcasting equipment, such as a turntable, records and a reel-to-reel in the library.
While expressing her appreciation, the proprietor of the school, Mrs. Folashade Adebisi, said the excursion to the station was a request by parents of the pupils.
Mrs. Adebisi maintained that the school prides itself in molding students academically and spiritually for their overall development.
