As Christians all over the world celebrate Easter, the senator representing Oyo North, AbdulFatai Buhari, has called Christians to allow the joy of Easter to inspire them, rebuild broken bridges and uplift every voice in their communities.
The admonition was contained in a felicitation message to Christians.
According to Senator Buhari, Easter celebration marks the triumph of light over darkness, hope over despair and life over death, and so every Christian is expected to perceive it the same way for the betterment of his or her existence.
While hinting that no condition is permanent in life, Senator Buhari said, “the resurrection of Jesus Christ reminded Christians that no challenge is too hard to surmount, especially when faith, unity and perseverance guide them”.
The lawmaker prayed for the people of Oyo North that the season may renew their hearts to love more deeply, serve more selflessly and work tirelessly for a society where justice and compassion flourish.
