Fear Allah, uphold Nigeria’s image – Sheikh AL Asrau Tells Intending Pilgrims

By Olaolu Fawole

The Director, Inaayatullahi Travels and Tours, Iwo Osun State, Sheikh Sirajudeen Bilaal AL Asrau has urged intending pilgrims to fear Allah as they prepare for the 2025 Hajj rites.

Sheikh Bilaal AL Asrau said this on Saturday during a special training for intending pilgrims travelling with Inaayatullahi Travels and Tour.

He urged them to follow Hajj protocols and instructions from their leaders who have been assigned to guide them through various sacred places in Saudi Arabia and avoid any action that could tarnish the image of Nigeria in the holy land.

According to Sheikh Bilaal AL Asrau, Hajj has spiritual rewards as it is different from tourism.

Earlier in a lecture, Professor Sikirullahi Shaafi from AL Hikmah University, Ilorin Kwara State, appealed to the intending pilgrims to view Hajj as a means of purification, adding that they should observe the fifth pillar of Islam in a way that would be acceptable by Almighty Allah.

The Head of News and Current Affairs, Ayekooto 88.3FM, Iwo Osun State, Mr. Dauda Ahmed, who is one of the intending pilgrims, appreciated Inaayatullahi Travels and Tours, for the opportunity to perform this year’s hajj.

Mr. Ahmed, who is also Oyo state Missioner, Muslim Media Practitioners Association of Nigeria and one time Radio Nigeria award-winning newscaster, commended Ayekooto 88.3FM, for providing the platform for the travel agency to sponsor him for the pilgrimage.

The intending pilgrims are expected to depart Nigeria for Saudi Arabia on May 24, 2025
