Oyo State governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde, has visited the Fresh FM Headquarters, Ibadan, parts of which were destroyed by fire.
The governor expressed his sympathy to the chairman of the Radio Station, Dr Olayinka Ayefele and the management.
He noted that the state government would meet with the head of the Oyo State Fire Service to review and reorganise its operations for more effective service delivery.
Governor Makinde, who appreciated God that no lives were lost in the inferno, promised that the state government would support the station in ensuring that it does not stay off-air for long.
Responding, Dr Ayefele expressed gratitude to Governor Makinde, commending the promptness of his visit to the station, which, according to him, showed he is a caring leader.
He equally appreciated all the fans of the radio station within and outside the country, calling on them to all join hands with him towards rebuilding the station.
