The carnival is intended to put the state in celebratory mood and create business opportunities for residents of the state throughout the yuletide period.

The Commissioner, who noted that the carnival would not be restricted to Ibadan, the state capital but held concurrently in various parts of the state, added that adequate arrangements have been made to secure lives and properties before, during and after the carnival.

Oyo State governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde, is expected to flag off the carnival in the first week of December.

Vibing December, which is being organized in conjunction with communities, towns and a number of corporate sponsors, would feature activities such as; Legendary December with beer village at designated centers, Fantasyland variety programme, Ogbomoso Cradle Carnival, Oyo Durbar, Amaland Festival, Atewolara Festival, Hotel Vibes, Ojude UI, artistes’ hangout and concerts.
