Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, has commissioned the six-kilometre Akute-Ajuwon-Alagbole Road in Ifo Local Government Area, with a pledge to commission the Hercules-Giwa Road within the next three weeks.
Governor Abiodun described the project as another milestone in his administration efforts to enhance the movement of people and goods across the state.


He said other completed roads in Ifo Local Government including Alhaji Kosoko, Toyin Street and Segun Osoba Roads, while the nine-kilometre Akute–Agbado Railway Station Road would be completed before year-end.
The governor noted that the remaining eight-kilometre stretch from Agbado Railway Station to Ogba Ayo and Sango–Ijoko Roads would soon be awarded.
Also speaking, the Commissioner for Works and Infrastructure, Mr Ade Akinsanya, commended residents for their support and warned against dumping refuse in the drainage.
